New Toys

I find it hard to believe but I bought a set of 72 Prismacolor colored pencils yesterday and have barely gotten them sharpened. I am still working on my negative drawing of the moon lit night. I don't think it will be a master piece, but the concept is interesting and is making me think more about what I am doing. I am trying to decided if the ground in the fore front should be black as the sky or light as the trees or maybe in between. Of course no one is willing to offer an opinion in case I take it and it looks bad. I guess it starts light because I can always go darker.How is that for taking the easy way out?
