Old Country School House

I really wanted to write something about my art today so I guess I do 2 entries. I have several drawings that are works in progress (WIP) and I would like to finish some day. You can see my pencil drawings on my web page at hartfield.net. I am working on a drawing of an old country school house a couple miles down the road from the Hargrove Grocery Store. It is more of a challenge than I thought it would be. Besides having a tin roof it is a two story clapboard building and clapboards are supposed to be straight and parallel to each other. That is a lot of straight lines very close together. I have the right side to finish which includes a lot of trees in the background and then the grass and brush in front.
