Well I made it through the first day with out taking the noon dose of morphine. I have had to take two hydrocodone for my hands and my stomach has been upset a little is all so far. I am also wide awake and it is nearly midnight. I hope it keeps up this easy.
Thanks to all of my friends who are praying for me or supporting me in their own way.

Beginning in July of 2008 I experienced Chronic Nerve pain that still lingers, but the main pain continued until May of 2009.
Only 10 months, but a period that I prayed would end continuously!
My doctors were not my "friends" either. I also felt much the cliche "number" and "Dollar sign".
Eventually, I had prayer warriors praying for me.... Not a lot of people... but people I KNEW, knew God (or rather were known by God). If such was not the case one might as well pray to a block of wood.
I felt like I had minor symptoms of what some souls will experience forever... depression, loneliness, pain, fear, restlessness... for all I felt some will experience such eternally without a dr, pain med or loved ones. It was quite profound to ponder.
I do not claim to be a prayer warrior, but If I were you I would not be ashamed to seek the Lord and those who you know pray and who love and obey Him. I am delighted to hear that you are able to press on without your 3rd med/day... I know it will not be easy...
Nevertheless, I will pray that you find relief, rest, and those who can be a demonstration of God's presence to your heart and soul. And, in all that you are forced to find in this trial, may you be able ever to find our Lord & Savior in a way that you have never know Him before!
May God eternally deliver from this trial not only your body, but your heart, and soul to His Glory and your Joy!
